Linked to nature

We should not cling to the housing concept of 4 solid walls!

The Crystal Bubble (Crystal Tree) concept living from Pierre Stephane Dumas is one of those genius ideas that puts things in perspective.  It’s a pretty simple concept and it could be a wonderful form of transparent living.

Everything and nothing

Some designers are just on poems instead of products, Martín Azúa from Pais Vasco is one of them.

A self-inflating prefab home, as soon as it interacts with either body temperature or heat from the sun, it goes from a flat sheet of material to an insulated home. With this concept he has created this experimental prototype… a basic house under the principle of ”having everything without having almost anything”

His Basic House is part of MOMA collection New York.
Good one!

Houseware – Apollo Lamp

Something good at houseware design!… by International.

”Spun Aluminium, 5-axis Laser cut, Anodised.

Modular system of light shades to be arranged in various configurations on a standard screw cup lamp holder.

Solid shades offer complete and variably directed shade. Perforated shades – in layered combination – enable the light to be gradually filtered, allowing for customisation of the overall aesthetic and manipulation of the emitted light.”

Christina Kerns

Christina Kerns’s dreamlike vignettes are created with appropriated imagery and small props. Using a Technicolor palette that makes the scenarios seem more imaginary than real, the images are initially set up as dioramas. Kerns’s jagged edges and deliberately messy composition mimic the rough way in which our memories are muddled together.

The images are culled from ideas and pictures we are bombarded with by mass media. Kerns’s mash-ups reflect the way films, games, magazines, and advertisements influence our thoughts and dreams and mesh together to form a skewed reminiscence of one’s past and of reality.”

It is great to discover people doing these cool imagery. I love her art. Check her website here!

Christmas gifts

It is supposed that the compulsive buying period has already started, seriously we hate the Christmas routines and traditions.

We’ve been thinking about creating an special trade to promote the sales for Christmas, as most of the brands do, but it is not our natural way.

Blauvent will not extra promote their products for these ”special” days.

🙂 Rest on peace!
