Questions about the product
Where are BLAUVENT products made?
Our design studio is in Tyrol, not far from Innsbruck. All products are individually handcrafted with great care in the small BLAUVENT production facilities in Spain. For us, the idea of promoting local and individual production makes sense. Most of our suppliers are family owned businesses and come from Alicante and Valencia in Spain, as well as from Catalonia. Why is every bag unique?
Because they are made from used paragliders. Each paraglider has its own story, appearance and usage. In addition, each bag in Alicante, Spain, is still cut by hand and given an individual look depending on the color scheme of the wing. That is why every single product will be unique.
Which materials are used in the Blauvent products?
We started by using original paraglider material produced in Europe. But soon we received offers to use used gliders and prototypes, which really gave our sustainable idea of upcycling a boost.
For our T-shirts we use organically grown cotton. The fabric is woven in Spain and the rest of the production chain is in Spain, in the Valencia area.
All wooden items come from ecologically sustainable forestry in the north of Spain, where water is not in short supply. Air-dried and painted with non-toxic paints.
Can I suggest a product idea?
BLAUVENT is constantly working on the development of new ideas and products. When customers report suggestions for improvement or submit completely new ideas, we are of course very happy about these inputs! Please write us via email!

What payment methods are accepted?
You can pay safely and quickly in our webshop. Your data is encrypted using an SSL security certificate. We accept the following payment methods without any fees:
Prepayment and credit cards (Visa, Mastercard) via PayPal Direct for non-PayPal users and PayPal for PayPal account holders or if you prefer also via direct transfer from your bank.
Do the prices already include VAT?
The prices for sales within Austria and the European Union include 20% Austrian VAT. If you are a company and have a VAT number, please contact us.
Sales to Switzerland are tax free in Austria according to § 7 sales tax law (UStG). The prices for sales to Switzerland are exclusive of VAT. The 8% VAT, customs duties, customs clearance fees and any other taxes incurred upon receipt in Switzerland are not included in the price.
Customers in EU third countries (except Switzerland)
The prices for sales in third countries of the EU with the exception of Switzerland include 20% Austrian VAT. Customs duties, customs clearance fees and any other duties incurred upon receipt in the destination country are not included in the price.
Shipping
The shipping costs for your location are shown in the order process under the product price.
How long will it take for me to receive my order?
Parcels are sent to Austria and Europe by certificate by post and to the USA by express courier service. Since we deliver internationally, shipping takes anywhere from 1 day to 14 days, depending on the location, in China or Russia up to 25 days. All items are in stock and can be sent to you immediately after receipt of payment. The delivery time begins on the day after the payment order is placed and ends at the end of the last day of the specified period.
What if my package is not delivered?
Orders returned to us due to an incomplete or incorrect address will not be automatically returned to the customer and will only be resent at the customer's expense. In addition, orders that are not accepted by the customer will not be returned to the customer and will only be resent at the customer's expense. Please send us an email if your package has not been delivered within the calculated time.
Do I get what I expected?
We work hard on design and manufacture. The product you receive will definitely be better than expected. However, we cannot guarantee that the colors shown on the website will accurately reflect the colors of the actual product. This depends in part on the color rendering on your computer.
Returns
Your rights
If for any reason you are unsatisfied with your newly purchased item, you have the right to return it within 14 days in accordance with the right of withdrawal conditions set out in our section. Your rights are also listed in the footer under the "Right of Withdrawal" link.
Returns or exchanges without prior notice cannot be processed. Please note that all returns must be in new condition with all original packaging.
We can exchange your product for different colors and you can return it if it has not been used. The buyer bears the cost of returning an item. Only the purchase price of a returned item will be refunded. Any duties or taxes paid as well as the original shipping costs will not be refunded.
Refunds can be declined for the following reasons:
- Natural acts like disasters.
- Indications of inappropriate use.
- Interventions by the buyer or a third party.
- Extreme use or treatment by the buyer.
- Normal traces of use.
- Shipping damage.
Is there a guarantee?
In the first 30 days after purchase, BLAUVENT guarantees the product for any defects if the product is used for the purpose intended under normal conditions and the guarantee does not apply to damage caused by typical wear and tear over time, inappropriate use, accidents or Neglect caused. BLAUVENT can request proof of damage in the form of a picture and other relevant information to check whether your goods are covered by the guarantee. The damaged product must have arrived in our warehouse before a replacement can be shipped.
